Library Book Sale Fully Stocked for August

The ongoing sale is located in the open area past the Internet café and is restocked semi-weekly.

The Livingston Public Library's summer book sale is fully stocked for the month of August. 

The ongoing book sale put on by the Friends of the Livingston Public Library has more than 1,500 books available for purchase. The book sale is replenished semi-weekly, so the Friends of the Library invites you to come often and browse. 

The ongoing sale is located in the open area passed the Internet café and opposite the Children’s Desk.

The sale is sorted by categories. In one area, you'll find fiction books, which include romance, sci-fi, mysteries/thrillers, general adult fiction and teen titles. 

There are also hundreds of non-fiction titles, including cooking, art, travel, sports, self-help, hobbies/crafts, science, foreign language, history/culture, biography, business, humor and religion.

And there is also stacks upon stacks of children’s books. The sale also includes a selection of adult and children’s non-print media including DVDs and CDs.

And these prices can't be beaten!

  • Adult hard cover: $1.00 each
  • Adult soft cover: $.50 each, 
  • Children’s hard cover: $.50 each
  • Children’s soft cover: $.25 each
  • DVDs: $2.00 each
  • Other non-print media: $.25 each.  
  • Specially marked “coffee table” books are $3 each.
