Visions for Vacancies: What Should Move to 250 Livingston Ave.?

All possibilities are on the table! Let us know what business you want to see next in Livingston.

It is time for another installment of Livingston Patch's Visions for Vacancies. This week, Patch asks: What should move to 250 Livingston Ave., the former Alaive & Co. Fine Jewelry?

All possibilities are on the table. We ask you to forget what zone it's in, ignore setback regulations, dump-lot coverage rules, and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. If you had your way, what would you like to see there? What would be the best use for the community?

A large sign with the words "RETAIL/OFFICE FOR LEASE" currently resides in the former jeweler's window. The one-story retail space is located across from the township's public works department garage and near Kings Food Markets.

The vacant store is in a building that houses a gym and hair salon. There is plenty of off-street parking in the parking lot behind the building.

What would you like to see move into the location? Another ice cream or frozen yogurt store? An Ethiopian restaurant? Let us know in the comment section below!
