Board of Ed. Candidates To Meet Wednesday

      • Wednesday is the Livingston Board of Education's candidates night starting at 8 p.m. at the Senior & Community Center, at 204 Hillside Avenue. Stop by to meet incumbents Ronnie Spring, current board president, and Leslie Winograd and challenger Arthur Altman. The three will contend for two open spots on the board in the Nov. 5 election. Each seat carries three-year terms.  
      • Mt. Pleasant Elementary School will hold its back-to-school nights for parents on Wednesday between 7:30-9 p.m.
      • The Presbyterian Church of Livingston will hold a round table discussion Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. The topics discuss will be certain episodes  from the Clergy Corner television show, world religions, and other pertinent issues.  For more information, contact the church office at 973-992-2261 or visit www.thepcl.us.
