Livingston Library Hosts BOOKFEST

The annual fundraiser brings book enthusiasts of all ages to the Livingston Library.

Last weekened the Friends of the Livingston Public Library sponsored BOOKFEST, their annual fall book fair, at the library.

BOOKFEST offered thousands of current and classic books selections and videos sold at bargain prices.  Readers of all ages, as well as book dealers, attended the sale that ran from October 22-25.

"It is a great place to find great deals and a wide range of book selections," said Keith DeMare, while browsing through the display.

The Friends are currently holding their annual membership drive.  So far this year, the group estimates that nearly 400 people have either have either joined as newcomers or renewed their membership.

As one of the leading contributors to the library's Capital Campaign, membership dues support services not covered by the library's budget.

On Monday, November 16, the Friends will hold their Annual General Meeting, open to everyone, at 7:30 in the local history room of the library.
