Marilyn Joyce Lehren is the Manager of Communications and Community Outreach for Livingston Public Schools. She was the local editor of Livingston Patch and a copy editor for NJ Spotlight, an online news service providing insight and information on issues critical to New Jersey. She has been a copy editor for The Times of Trenton, and reporter for the Philadelphia Business Journal, Today's Sunbeam in Salem County, NJ, and the West Essex Tribune in Livingston. She has taught young, aspiring reporters at enrichment programs in South Orange/Maplewood elementary schools. She's also a music teacher and volunteer at the South Orange Library, where she performs stories & songs for preschoolers; and Maplewood Library, where she leads a Saturday program for children with special needs. Marilyn lives in South Orange with her family.
