Jennifer Chaky, Neighbor

Most days I can be found running my eco-store/vegan cafe and ice cream bar Go Lightly at 4 So. Fullerton Ave. in Montclair but what's really behind the exterior is one woman on a mission to bring eco-living and vegan-leaning to as many open hearts as possible. Sure, I think about living in a commune, staying barefoot, growing my food, and living off the grid , but then I wouldn't get to interact with so many different wonderful folks that come into my life everyday through my store. And that's what it's about- making connections, offering ideas, learning from others, and together evolving to a human race that doesn't actually destroy all the life systems it depends on!

I'm also a mom of a middle school girl so if you see me laughing a lot...or crying, well, that's just how it is with my middle school girl- she's either cracking me up, or growing up so fast my head (and heart) hurts. We live with a bunch of rescued cats and our dog Ember. We don't need any more so please spay and neuter you pet and adopt instead of buy!
