Livingston Community Players Present the Music Man

The Meredith Wilson classic will be held the next two weekends.

For their 10th anniversary show, Livingston Community Players will proudly present Meredith Willson’s The Music Man. The Music Man is based on a story by Willson and Franklin Lacey. The plot concerns con man Harold Hill, who poses as a boys' band organizer and leader and sells band instruments and uniforms to naive townsfolk before skipping town with the cash.  The show opened on Broadway in 1957 and won 5 Tony Awards.  There are many memorable songs in The Music Man, among them is the rousing 76 Trombones, the lovely Goodnight My Someone, and the wry Ya Got Trouble. The performances will be held at Mt. Pleasant Middle School on: Sat. Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. Sun. Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. Sat. Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. Sat. Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. Sun. Nov. 18 …
