Local Band Plays Charity Show To Benefit the West Essex Y

Someone Say Something will perform Sunday to help raise money for families in need to attend programs at the West Essex Y in Livingston.

The West Essex Y in Livingston will turn into a concert and party hall this weekend with a charity show to benefit local families in need. Someone Say Something, a rock band comprised of members from Livingston, Caldwell and Florham Park, will perform. Other activities at the event include games, food, music, tricky trays and prizes. The event will benefit the West Essex Y's Strong Kids Campaign, which provides financial assistance for local families in need to afford membership fees and participate in the Y's health and education programs, such as child care and summer camp. The West Essex Y serves families in Livingston, West Orange, Roseland and the Caldwells.  John Kane, West Essex Y's Youth and Teen director, said the idea for the …
