A Seton Hall University professor and papal scholar said Pope Benedict XVI undertakes a “killer schedule” and the professor was concerned about the pontiff’s fragile health. “People have been talking for a year that the Pope appears more fragile,” Seton Hall professor and papal historian Msgr. Robert Wister said in a report today on NJ.com, adding the Pope “is not in robust health, and he has a killer schedule.” Pope Benedict XVI announced early Monday he will resign the papacy at the end of the month. “I give him enormous credit,” Wister continued, “He’s concerned for the church.”
