McDonald's Restaurants in the New York Tri-State area want to do a good deed for local organizations. Restaurants in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut are launching the McDonald's Nutrition Network - offering local organizations the chance to apply to McDonald's for grants to provide grassroots nutrition programs. The initiative is part of a corporate commitment to offer improved nutritious choices and wholesome options at McDonald's restaurants, and to teach children how to make good food choices while using recommended food groups.
