The Livingston class of 2026 is registering for kindergarten now

Emily Padilla, a future graduate of the LHS Class of 2026, models her new T-shirt after registering for Kindergarten with Livingston Pubic Schools.   Livingston Public Schools has begun the registration process for children who will turn 5 on or before October 1, 2013.   Registration takes place at 11 Foxcroft Drive, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m.-11:30 p.m. and 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m. by appointment only.   For more information, call Amy Ennis, the District’s registrar at (973) 535-8000 ext. 8002.

Livingston Referendum 1 of 8 in NJ

Voters in eight school districts around the state will head to polls Tuesday to vote on proposed construction projects.

Voters in eight New Jersey school districts will head to the polls Tuesday to vote on more than $50.8 million in proposed school construction, the New Jersey School Boards Association announced in a news release. The total includes the $18.2 million Livingston Public Schools are seeking, If approved, LPS would create 14 new classrooms,  three new media centers and ADA improvements at the high school. (More info is here.) The second Tuesday in March is one of the five days each year school boards may hold special elections. None of the proposed projects would receive state aid, according to the announcement from New Jersey School Boards Association, a federation of 586 local boards of education that advocates for school districts, trains …

State to Livingston: One More Dollar in School Aid

The state aid to school districts was released on Thursday

Livingston Public Schools will receive one dollar more in state aid for the 2013-14 year than it got this year.The state today released aid figures for schools across New Jersey; Livingston will receive $2,416,836.  For 2012-13, the district received $2,416,835.
