Library Crowns Best Hat in Town

The Livingston Public Library held a hat contest at a recent reading group meeting

Lillian Ostrin was the winner of the Great Hat Contest at the Livingston Public Library. The Livingston Public Library's own Coffee & Crime Mystery Book Club hosted a Great Hat Contest at its monthly meeting. The contest ties in with this month's book selection, MURDER, WITH PEACOCKS, by Donna Andrews, a tart, hilarious mystery with a few key scenes set at garden parties.  The winner of the Great Hat Contest was chosen by all of the members of the group.  Coffee & Crime is a free adult program held monthly at the Livingston Public Library.  We read a different kind of mystery each month, including historical, noir, thriller, true crime, caper and "cozy" and more.  The group is led by Reference Librarian Ariel Zeitlin Cooke, who is herself …

Great Hat! It's a Livingston Library Mystery

Livingston Public LIbrary hosts Coffee and Crime Thursday night

The Livingston Public Library's own Coffee & Crime Mystery Book Club hosts a Great Hat Contest at its monthly meeting on Thurs., February 7, 2013, at 7:15pm.  The contest ties in with this month's book selection, MURDER, WITH PEACOCKS, by Donna Andrews, a tart, hilarious mystery with a few key scenes set at garden parties.  The winner of the Great Hat Contest will be chosen by all of the members of the group and will receive a prize. The hats can be warm or elegant or silly--and you don't have to wear a hat yourself to join in the fun.
