More talk, no action yet on plans for field usage fees.

Business as usual, only less of it.
Deborah Shapiro has been writing about her experiences as a first-year member of township council in a blog called “From the Desk of Deborah Shapiro.” Livingston Patch is running excerpts of her writings. A Republican, Shapiro makes it clear these are her opinions as she joins a long-dominated Democratic council. In keeping with the winding down of summer, we have been having a lessening of the load on the Town Council. Our Sept. 6 Conference and Regular meetings did not really bring anything unusual or controversial to the fore. Closure on one issue, the construction of the Municipal Complex, was done through a final change order. I still consider the building too overblown with a huge carrying cost for maintenance, property management…

Forgive me for I have sinned; it’s been about 3 weeks since my last blog.

Forgive me for I have sinned; it’s been about 3 weeks since my last blog Not much has been going on at the Township Council meetings. At the June 13th conference meeting, and still to date, I have not been able to get agreement on the Community Outreach Committee. At this time, the mission statement is being revised by another Councilman. Perhaps this will facilitate closure on this! We also had a discussion regarding leaf …

I suggest Mrs. Shapiro again both review the proposed Vision 20/20 Questionnaire and the alerts posted on this web site. Had she done so, she would be aware that (A) the postings by the committee contain the language that CLEARLY STATES, among other things, that the Questionnaire will be seeking "..what might be suggested to expand or contract these services and (B) that almost every area covered…   more ›
