Saint Barnabas to Celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day
September 9 will be the 25th Anniversary of National Cancer Survivors Day.
In recognition of the 25th Annual National Cancer Survivors Day, the Saint Barnabas Cancer Program is inviting their patients to a Celebration of Life Luncheon on Sunday, September 9. This special event celebrates the courage of cancer survivors, the fortitude of their health caregivers, and the support of their loved ones. The afternoon is hosted by The Saint Barnabas Cancer Program and will take place from 12 to 3 p.m. at Mayfair Farms, 481 Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052. Celebration of Life will feature a presentation entitled “A Life in the Balance: A Comic’s Story of Surviving Cancer with Laughter and a Passion for Living” by keynote speaker Scott Burton.
