Singer, songwriter Lauryn Hill has been keeping a low profile since she was sentenced to three months in prison for failing to pay taxes on $2.3 million in income over the span of five years on Monday, May 6, a published report Sunday said. The South Orange resident and Fugees singer has recently taken to her Tumblr account, an NJ.com report said, to thank people who wrote letters to the judge on her behalf for leniency in her sentencing. The report says fellow musicians Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keys were among the 28 people who participated in the letter-writing campaign.
