Livingston Township - Water Pollution Control Facility
Drag box to select area
A branch of the Water Department, Livingston's Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) treats all wastewater from the township, whether industrial, commercial or residential. The WPCF treats 3 million gallons of wastewater a day, putting it through a series of treatments before it is discharged into the Passaic River. The WPCF was established in 1939 and a few years ago started holding an annual Open House so the public can see for themselves how their water is treated and find out about water quality.
