Council To Vote On $2M Bond, Halloween Thursday And More

The Livingston Township Council will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. at town hall. The council is set to have a final vote on a nearly $2-million bond ordinance for the purchase of property.

Dale Coots, marketing director at Annin Flag-makers in Roseland will speak about the history of the American Flag, how to honor, display and properly care for it at the Livingston Historical Society's meeting on Monday at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Ave., at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome and the event is free. Refreshments will be served. Founded in 1847 in New York City, Annin is the oldest and largest flag-maker in the United States.
