An educational workshop titled Financially Empowering Women will be held at 7:15 p.m. at National Council of Jewish Women, at 70 South Orange Ave., Suite 120. The workshop will be lead by Laura Mattia, who will provide objective financial advice, which will enable women to make informed decisions and plan for a successful retirement. The workshop is $7. Friends of the Livingston Public Library's BookFEST will kick off with a pre-public access for members on Wednesday from 2:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the library. Memberships can be purchased at the door. The sale will open to the public on Thursday from 10 am to 8 p.m., and also be held on Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and conclude Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
