Join us for an inspirational spin in memory of Jennifer Goodman Linn.

Cycle For Survival 2012 is underway!

For those of you who don't know, Cycle For Survival is a charity that raises money for rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering, the

Cycle was started 5 years ago, by my friend while she was fighting cancer herself.Amazingly, Cycle has already raised $9 million in that short time. Sadly, with cancer almost three months ago.

This year we're determined to make Cycle bigger than ever. The idea is simple. Jen was a spinning enthusiast, so people gather in small teams to spin for a little while, and people donate to their team.

There are Cycle events in February in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington DC, Long Island, and even . It's easy to do and easy to donate and here is the website link for it here.

When you go to the page, you can find my team, which is , and donate to our team. Or, you can get 4-8 people together and create your own team.

We went last year right after my diagnosis, and it is truly such an amazing and inspirational day. Once you're inside that room, it feels like anything is possible. It would mean a lot to me if you would consider donating and/or participating. You will be hearing a lot more about this from me over the next few months!

Sydney Becker, a Heritage Middle School 8th grader, was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer. She’s determined to kick this cancer, her courage shining in her journal. Sydney writes on CaringBridge.org, a nonprofit organization that provides free websites to help family and friends share information and support. (You can read Sydney's journal here).

Congratulations Sydney! The latest from her journal after her final treatment: "I'm done! My number came back today and it was 74. I was sooo happy! It was such an amazing feeling to walk out of the hospital. It was as if an enormous weight had been lifted. I just felt so...free. And happy. I was really happy. I couldn't stop smiling." We're smiling too Sydney. Fantastic news. Read more @ http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sydneybecker
