Friday night saw the start of the regional wrestling contest, but many of the contestants went home with an easy win. "Over half of the matches were forfeits," said Joe Trabucco, one of the organizers of the event. But the ones who did wrestle put in 100 percent, looking to culminate their four year high school career with an important win.
Wrestling will continue on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. The third session will be Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m., when LHS will wrestle the consolations. The doors for this session will open at noon. The finals will take place at about 2:30 p.m.
