Registration Now Open For 2013-14 LYCS After School Programs

Sign up you kid or kids for Livingston Youth & Community Services' programs that begin in October.

Residents can now register their children for the Livingston Youth & Community Services' leaders and after school Program for 2013-14. 

All programs start in October and run through May, with end of the year parties in June.

Elementary school students will meet after school from 2:40 to 3:40 p.m. at their school. Click below for dates.

Evening programs will run from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Monmouth Court Community Center, at 26 Monmouth Ct. Click below for schedules.

Youth Leaders

Elementary programs for youth leaders in grades 1-5 will meet at their school  from 2:40 to 3:40 p.m. once a month.

Young Leaders - Grades 1 and  2: Fee $75. Students are taught social, emotional, and leadership skills in a fun, educational program that is age appropriate. The program includes topics on making friends, self-esteem, communication and listening skills. Snacks are provided.

Leaders – Grades 3, 4 and 5: Fee $75. This is a fun, educational program that addresses different topics each month and includes recreation time. Students are taught different skills including listening, communication, self-esteem, responsibility, respect and teamwork. Snacks are provided.

Evening programs for students in the Grade 5 Leaders Club, Peer Leaders, and Peer to Peer will meet at Monmouth Court Community Center, at 26 Monmouth Ct., from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., once a month.

Grade 5 Leaders Club: Fee $75. There is a core curriculum and students choose additional topics of interest to them. Recreation takes place in the game room at Monmouth Court. Pizza and refreshments are provided.

Peer Leaders Club - Grades 6, 7, and 8: Fee $75. Peer Leaders choose topics of interest, participate in community service and adopt-a-charity. Recreation takes place in the game room at Monmouth Court. Pizza and refreshments are provided.

Community Leaders Club – Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12: Fee $75. Peer to Peer is a student-led leadership program committed to an ATOD-free lifestyle (Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs). Students decide topics of interest, community service, and have an opportunity to participate in cross-age teaching, leadership training, and weekend at Camp Bernie (dates TBA). Pizza and refreshments are provided.

Registration can be done online with your CommunityPass or in person at Senior, Youth and Leisure Services, at 204 Hillside Ave.
