Livingston Postpones, Reschedules Athletics

The updated practice schedule for Saturday is posted on the district's website.

All practices and events scheduled for Friday are canceled, including ice hockey practice at Codey Arena, the Livingston School District announced. 

The updated practice schedule for Saturday is posted on the district's website. All competitions scheduled for this weekend are still on and will be played as scheduled. 

The district is also recommending that parents sign up for the Notify Me alerts on the district website at www.secconference.org.  

Postponed and Rescheduled Practices, Games

As of Friday, the only make up game that has been rescheduled is the Lancers' wrestling match against Seton Hall Prep, which will take place on Friday, Feb. 7.  

In addition, the district added a wrestling match at Jefferson for Saturday. Please refer to the district's scheduling site, found here, for more information on this match.  

The district also anticipates more changes within the next week. Due to this, the district has generated a practice schedule only for this Monday, Jan. 6.  On Monday, the district will finalize all postponements and will complete the practice schedule for the rest of the week. 
 
The following is Monday's schedule: 
  • Auxiliary gym: 3-5:15 p.m. 
  • Girls basketball (all levels): 5:15 to 9 p.m. in the auxiliary gym
  • B/G Fencing Match: 3-9 p.m in the new gym
  • Boys basketball: Varsity at 4 p.m., junior varsity at 5:30 p.m. against Montclair Kimberley Academy and freshman at 7 p.m. against Visions Academy. 
  • Wrestling Impact testing: 3-6 p.m. in the wrestling room. 

On Friday, the district scheduled Impact testing for a number of its winter athletes. However with no school today, these appointments have been rescheduled to Monday, Jan. 13.  

Students scheduled for Friday should report to the same room and at the same time as today on Jan. 13.
