Livingston High's Fall Drama Hits The Stage Next Week

Students will put on Woody Allen's play, 'Don't Drink the Water,' starting Thursday, Dec. 5.

The LHS Drama Club is set to present the hit Woody Allen comedy "Don't Drink the Water." Billed as a "cascade of comedy," this show is certain to have audiences rolling in the aisles in performances at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, through Saturday, Dec. 7. 

The show, directed by Michele Leibowitz, features a look at relationships inside an American embassy behind the Iron Curtain, including tourists accused of spying and young kids just finding love for the first time. 

The show features Natalie Kahn, Brian Miseo, Jason Silberman, Melena Odegova, David Anderson, Rachael Richard, Josh Young, Ilana Saltzman, Jordan Cohen, Jared Kirsch, Sam Thor, Grace Shin, and Ryan Healy.

Samantha Brown is stage managing the play. Shay Weiser-Schlesinger is the production manager and Jaimey Shapey is the scenic artist.
 
Performances will take place at the Livingston High School auditorium, 30 Robert Harp Drive, Livingston. Tickets are $12 and may be purchased at the door or online in advance by clicking here.

The crew includes Josh Ringler and Matt Borker, co-technical Managers; Alex Ehrlich, head lighting designer; Dan Laveman, head sound designer; Jordan Wagner, assistant stage manager; Martha Ackermann, costumes; Kimia Zehtab, Laney Silverman and Abby Simko, head of costumes; Evan Anderson, lighting assistant; and Mikey Thompson, sound assistant.

Christina Cuppari, Ethan Gallant, Grace Bracci, Ilana Goldin, Zach Hirschberger, and Giacomo Gesualdo are on the build crew. Brian Megaro is in charge of sets and all technology.
