Livingston Duo Opens New Educational Enrichment Center

E.nopi sounds like the name of some internet company, but in fact, it is the newest educational service to be offered in Livingston.

is a supplemental education program focused on math, reading, and writing that originated in Korea in 1976 and now has more than 2.5 million children enrolled world-wide. 

Starting July 14, the newest location for the program will be in Livingston, at 184 S. Livingston Ave.

Livingston residents Laura Lee and Julie Chen both have 5 and 3 year olds and were in search for an academic enrichment program for their kids.  When they realized that none existed in this area, the duo decided to open their own program, following the e.nopi strategy.

The program focuses on the subjects of math, reading and writing for students aged 3-16.  E.nopi isn’t meant to replace what a student learns in school, but instead it is an added supplement. 

The e.nopi program is designed to expand students' perspectives by encouraging them to become self-motivated, independent, and proactive learners with various tools such as building blocks, shapes, workbooks and more.  The center boasts a student to teacher ratio of 4:1.  Parents can bring their kids in to receive a diagnostic test and determine what level of learning they are at.

The walls of e.nopi are brightly colored to help enrich the student’s learning experience.

“We want the kids to say ‘I like this place, I like e.nopi,’” said Chen.  “We want it to be fun, but the students are learning at the same time.”
