3 Board of Ed. Candidates To Debate Issues

Incumbents Ronnie Spring and Leslie Winograd and challenger Arthur Altman will vie for two seats on the board in November.

You've seen their names and photos, but here's your chance to meet the candidates running in the Livingston Board of Education election and hear their platforms.

A candidates night and debate will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Ave. The night will be put on by the League of Women Voters and Diane Gallo will moderate the debate.

That night, you can meet incumbents Ronnie Spring, current board president, and Leslie Winograd and challenger Arthur Altman. The three will contend for two open spots on the board in the Nov. 5 election. Each seat carries three-year terms.

This is a free public meeting, and residents are urged to bring questions and concerns.
