  • 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (LHS auditorium) – Come see the animated movie Our Friend Martin about two students – one black and one white – who travel back in time and meet Dr. King.  The students experience segregation firsthand when they aren't allowed to eat on a train together and witness the bus boycott, the Birmingham riots, and the "I Have a Dream" speech.  The cast features stars Edward Asner, Angela Basset, James Earl Jones, LeVar Burton, Whoopie Goldberg, Danny Glover and Samuel L. Jackson.
  • 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (LHS auditorium) – Stick around after the movie for some live music performed by bands Chromatic Funk and Castles.
