Menendez, Kyrillos to Discuss Jewish Issues in Livingston

The candidates for New Jersey's seat in the U.S. Senate will both be at Temple Beth Shalom tonight.

Tonight, the two Senatorial candidates for New Jersey will be at Temple Beth Shalom to discuss a myriad of issues facing Jewish residents.  The event starts at 7:15 p.m. and is open to the public.

United States Sen. Robert Menendez and his opponent, state Sen. Joe Kyrillos, will discuss their positions on Israel, Iran, senior adults, nonprofit tax issues, healthcare, entitlements and fiscal issues and other priority issues of concern to the Jewish community.

Menendez, a Democrat and the incumbent, has held his current position since he was appointed by then-Gov. Jon Corzine in 2006. He previously served in the House of Representatives. Kyrillos, a Republican, has held a seat in the New Jersey Senate since 1992.

The two recently competed in a debate at Montclair State University.
