Meet the Livingston BOE Candidates Tonight

Three candidates will debate tonight at 8 p.m.

Three candidates for the Livingston Board of Education will meet tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 19 for a debate presented by the Livingston League of Women Voters. The forum will be in the Livingston High School chorus room beginning at 8 p.m.

Candidates -- Pam Chirls, David Jasin, and Soumitra Rathod -- are running for two open seats on the local school board.

Livingston voters will vote for the school board candidates for the first time in the general election on November 6. The election time was moved as a result of a new state law signed last January that gave districts the option to move their elections from April to November.
