Bike Registration, Summer Concert, Library Murder Mystery This Week

Get ready for your weekend garage/yard/estate sale by filling out this easy (and free!) form on Monday. Patch will use the information to build an interactive map for people to find your weekend sale.  

Don't just protect your bicycle by locking it up with a chain, register it with Livingston Police Department. On Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon the police department is inviting residents to bring their bicycles to Police Headquarters, at 333 S. Livingston Ave., to have them registered.

Any resident may register his or her bicycle with the department. A sticker will be placed on the bicycle with an identifying number.

The bicycle must be present at the registration. The registration form may be filled out and brought to the registration event. Print out a form by following the link: http://livingstontownship.org/police/forms-page/.  

Tweens and teenagers entering grades six and above are invited to the Livingston Public Library on Wednesday at 7 p.m for Murder in the Library! Your kids will examine clues and interview "murder" suspects to solve the mystery and win prizes. Registration is required. To register, send an email with the name, grade, and phone number of the child participating to dewilde@bccls.org.

The Livingston Concert Series will continue Sunday as the Eagle's tribute band Hotel California will play at the Memorial Field gazebo starting at 7 p.m. In case of rain, the concert will be held in Livingston High School's auditorium.
