Witness Sees Thief Take Off With BMW Parked At 7-Eleven, Police Say
There was also $2,000 in cash and credit cards inside running car, police said.
A Livingston man had his BMW stolen while it was left unattended and running in front of a convenience store on Livingston Avenue, police said.
The 59-year-old man parked his BMW 650 in the parking lot of 7-Eleven, at 280 S. Livingsotn Ave., according to Livingston Sgt. Anthony Dippold.
The Livingston man parked his car along the south-facing wall of the building and left it running while he went inside the convenience store, said Dippold. After purchasing a few things, he returned to find his car stolen, said Dippold.

In addition, the Livingston man said there was $2,000 in cash inside the car, as well as his wallet and credit cards, said Dippold.
After the 59-year-old man left his car unattended, a witness saw a dark grey Acura MDX with tinted windows approach the BMW, said Dippold. The man — described as black and about 6-feet tall with dreadlocks and a slim build — got out of the Acura SUV and got inside the BMW, said Dippold.

The Acura, driven by another unidentified man, and BMW then left the 7-Eleven parking lot, said Dippold.
The investigation is still on going, said Dippold.
