Police: Missing Livingston Woman Found

Police believe the woman ran away on her own.

A Livingston woman reported missing nearly three weeks ago was found this week about 20 miles away in Passaic County, according to Livingston Police. 

Tina Tekirian, 41, was found near a church in the City of Paterson by an unidentified priest, according to police. Tekirian, who reportedly suffers from depression and has run away in the past, was transported to a local-area hospital and her family was contacted.  

Livingston Police were informed that Tekirian was found on Wednesday. Police believe she ran away on her own.

Tekirian was reported missing on Aug. 8. That same morning, North Caldwell Police found Tekirian sitting in her car in the parking lot of St. Anthony of Padua Church at around 3 a.m. 

North Caldwell Police and the West Essex First Aid Squad questioned Tekirian, and  she later left the area.

Less than a week later on Aug. 13, Tekirian’s car was found parked in a municipal parking lot in Caldwell. The same day, a woman who fit Tekirian’s description was seen praying at St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell.
