Livingston's National Night Out to Feature Raffle Prizes From Local Businesses
Sixth annual event is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 5.
Livingston's sixth annual National Night Out will feature a free raffle with participants having a chance to win prizes from local businesses.
The event, which will start at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Memorial Oval, will include prizes donated by Love Letters, Antonio’s, Dieci, and Livingston Car Wash. Dana Gaier, Livingston resident and voice of Edith in the “Despicable Me” movies, has also donated several movie-related prizes for this year’s free raffle.
Step it Up Events will be present with its open photo booth all evening. Attendees will be able to pose for a picture and receive a souvenir copy to take with them. McGruff the Crime Dog will be posing for photos from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

Livingston’s event is supported by donations from Best Provisions, Costco, Crystal Plaza, Livingston BID, Livingston Chamber of Commerce, Investors Savings Bank, Kings and Livingston Bagel.
The Livingston Kiwanis Club will hold a Swim Karnival for children ages 3 to 13 at Haines Pool from 7 to 8 p.m.

Any organization or local business that would like to have a free display table at the event can call the Community Policing Unit at 973-992-3000 ext. 3600.
In case of rain, the event will be held inside Livingston High School.
