Local children invited to submit their designs.

The Livingston Police Department will hold its sixth annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5. National Night Out is a nationwide effort to increase awareness of anti-crime programs taking place in communities.

Livingston’s festivities will take place at the Memorial Oval beginning at 5:30 p.m. There will be free food and drinks, rides, fact painting, balloons, carnival games, giveaways, a deejay and law enforcement displays, safety and security demonstrations and anti-drug activities.

Prizes will be awarded for the best posters in each of the following categories:  ages 5-7, ages 8-10, ages 11-13 and ages 14-16.  All winning posters will be displayed at National Night Out.
