Home Burglarized on E. McClellan Avenue, Say Police

Livingston Police are currently looking for a Jeep Grand Cherokee with purple doors which the department believes may be linked to the burglary.

A female resident came home last week to find her house broken into and jewelry stolen, according to Livingston Police.

The woman reportedly left her home on Sept. 13 between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on E. McClellan Avenue, said police. When she arrived home, she discovered her bedroom window pried open and about $500 worth of jewelry missing from a bedroom dresser, according to police.

While there were no witnesses, neighbors told police they had spotted an unfamiliar Jeep Grand Cherokee parked near the burglarized home on the E. McClellan Avenue that day, said police.
