Livingston Boy Scout Troop Teams with Habitat for Humanity

Livingston, N.J. - Livingston Boy Scout troop 12 participated in a Habitat for Humanity, Newark wall and staircase build on Saturday, November 2 on the grounds of St. Peter's Episcopal Church.

This build was part of 15-year-old Life Scout Jack Farrell's service project to obtain his Eagle Scout rank, the highest rank attainable of the Boy Scout program. Community service hours are part of the Eagle Scout requirements, which Farrell is one-step closer to completing. The group of 21 boys built six wall frames and two staircases which will be used in various Habitat homes in Essex County.
