Funeral Tuesday for Slain Livingston Teen

Mass for Brendan Tevlin will be at 11 a.m. at Saint Philomena's Church in Livingston.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday for the Livingston teen who was killed last week in West Orange.

Brendan Tevlin, 19, died from multiple gunshot wounds late Wednesday night in the area of Northfield Avenue and Walker Road. 

A funeral Mass for Tevlin, a Seton Hall Prep grad who just completed his freshman year at the University of Richmond, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Saint Philomena's Church in Livingston. Visitation was held Monday at Seton Hall Prep's auditorium. 

Arrangements are being handled by The Dangler Funeral Home in West Orange, according to Tevlin's obituary. Letters of condolences can be posted on the funeral home's website.

No arrests have been made in the killing and no motive has been announced. The Essex County Prosecutor's Office released photos on Saturday from a nearby surveillance camera of two men who may have been witnesses to the slaying.

The Essex County Sheriff's Office has offered a $10,000 reward for information that leads to those responsible for the killing.
