Livingston's past will rise from the dead this Halloween for a spooky evening of educational fun.
The Livingston Senior/Community Center will offer two performances of "Historical Hauntings" on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 4:45 and 6:45 p.m. in The Ely Cemetery.
Shuttle buses will leave from the calmness of the community center, at 204 Livingston Ave. and bring parents and students to the eerie destination — just a few minutes away — where a creepy cast will be awaiting them.
Don't worry, for there won't be skeletons jumping out at you! But there will be actors dressed in historical garb who will be some of the individuals buried there, and they will speak about their lives and times.
The program is free, but you must register to hold your space.
This program is not recommended for young children.
Register now online using the CommunityPass or stop by the community center during normal hours of operation, Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or call (973) 535-7925.
