Third Annual Jewish Playwriting Contest: You Decide JCC MetroWest’s Best New Jewish Play of 2014

You pick the winner!  Help us choose the best new Jewish play of 2014 in JCC MetroWest’s live selection Txt2Thtr Event.  Join us on Saturday, March 1, 8:00pm at the Leon & Toby Cooperman JCC, 760 Northfield Avenue, West Orange.

JCC MetroWest and the Jewish Plays Project (JPP) gathered a community of professional and lay readers who have selected three new full-length plays with Jewish themes from over 200 submissions in a competition over the past few months. The three finalists will be given the opportunity to stage 20 minutes of their works in the Maurice Levin Theater at the Cooperman JCC. You will watch excerpts from the top three plays and give real-time feedback to the selection committee by responding to a text-message survey on your cell phone. At the end of the night, a winner will be announced.

The winning play will go on to a final round in New York City at the 14th Street Y.
