Temple B'nai Abraham Book Group with Rabbi Kulwin

Sixteen years ago, a group of Temple members, led by Rabbi Kulwin, began reading together.  Since then, the members of the TBA Book Group have read over 125 books together, and continue to read and discuss together with enthusiasm and enjoyment. f you like to read, and can at least occasionally be available on the first Thursday of every month join usCurrent selections are generally grouped in two or three months of a particular theme, are posted on this website.  Books are almost always available easy from area libraries, or online, or at local bookstores.  And when they are not, the Temple will secure several copies of the book for us to share. Free and Open to the community. Registration requested. 973-994-2290.

Similar to Jonathan Tropper’s unforgettable This Is Where I Leave You, the Frankel family of The World Without You gathers, at its Berkshires home, to remember youngest son Leo, a journalist killed on assignment in Iraq. As is inevitable when large families gather in small spaces during times of emotion…a lot happens. The Frankels are diverse, yet in many ways emblematic of every family and every Jewish family.
