On Friday, February 7, 7:30 PM, following Kabbalat Shabbat Services which are at 6:30 PM, Temple B’nai Abraham Sisterhood will sponsor a Kabbalat Shabbat Dinner and Speaker. Rabbi Elliott Kleinman, Chief Engagement Officer Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion will speak on The Jewish Vote; Making a Right Turn? Elliott Kleinman, a frequent and popular teacher at Temple B'nai Abraham, spent a dozen years as a professional political operative before attending rabbinical school.  He has remained a close and eager student of American politics in general, and of the politics of American Jews in particular. He will review Jewish voting patterns in recent elections, as well as Jewish involvement in politics overall, and explore the changing nature - if there is a change - of Jewish voters and what that says about the American Jewish community.  Join your friends for a delicious dinner, good conversation and a stimulating presentation. $25 per person,  ($20 in advance.) Ruth Ross is the Chair of Kabbalat Shabbat Programming and Elena Meinhardt & Debbie Myers are Sisterhood Co-Presidents. For reservations call the temple office at 973-994-2290 or register online at www.tbanj.org.
