HOMEGROWN STRING BAND sponsored by Livingston Library

Livingston Public Library invites you to enjoy a special Bicentennial program for National Night Out on August 6th.  The Homegrown String Band will perform onstage at 6:00 p.m. at the bandstand on the Oval.

The Homegrown String Band, “the family that plays together,” is a 100% natural organically grown band, homegrown by Georgianne and Rick Jackofsky and their daughters, Erica and Annalee. They have been performing around the country since 1997.

They take their inspiration from rural string bands of the early 20th century, playing guitar, banjo, fiddle, dulcimer mandolin, and harmonica to bring their own talent to classic American roots music. Visit their website, www.homegrownstringband.com to learn more about the family and their music
