Historic Haunts of Northern Jersey

Author and historian Gordon Thomas Ward will visit Livingston Library to share stories of his investigations of haunted locations and of ghostly phenomena.

Mr. Ward is a member of Haunted New Jersey, a premier group of paranormal investigators who make use of many years' worth of experience and the collection of forensic-based evidence to both dismiss and support claims of hauntings, especially in historic locations.  He is the author of several books, including Ghosts of Central Jersey : Historic Haunts of the Somerset Hills, and A Bit of Earth in the Somerset Hills: Growing Up in a Small New Jersey Town.

This program is geared for adults, and will include tales of the ghosts that roam within the historic sites and buildings of New Jersey. Ward will talk about the accuracy of the traditional stories connected with these hauntings and show photos of investigation sites and audio clips of unexplained voices.

The Friends of Livingston Public Library are sponsors for the program. It's free and all are invited. This is not a children's program, but is suitable for ages 12 and older.
