Livingston Symphony Orchestra Hurricane Sandy Benefit concert

Our Livingston symphony's season opening concert was scheduled during the week that the hurricane tore through our state.  In the spirit of community, the professional level volunteer members of the orchestra are regroupng to perform some of the greatest celebrations in classical music, Brahms' "Academic Festival Overture" and the previously scheduled Copland "Rodeo" and Dvorak "New World Symphony."  The concert is free with contributions going to the Hurricane Sandy NJ Relief Fund.
