Artists on Arts: A Continuing Series of Presentations at the Cooperman JCC

The community is invited to a FREE, two artist presentation, part of the “Artists on Art” series, on Thursday, February 27 at 7:00pm in the Cooperman JCC’s multimedia art studio. This program features two of the artists who are participating in the current Gaelen Gallery East exhibit “Judaism: A Visual Conversation.”

Jo Jochnowitz, Visual Arts Professor at Kean College, will present “Ashes, Ashes: An Artist’s Response to the Holocaust,” a slide talk about his series of 25 emotional, Holocaust-themed charcoal drawings, four of which are in the Gaelen Gallery East show.

Painter and writer Jennifer Moses will present “Unlocking Your Inner Artist," an energetic and interactive talk designed to help you discover your own creativity in the visual, literary, and performing arts.
