What Should Move to 10 Mt. Pleasant Ave.?

The former Mexican restaurant is located in a prominent place in town, so what business do you think should move in?

In this installment of Visions for Vacancies, Livingston Patch asks: What do you think should move into 10 Mt. Pleasant Ave., the former Stealing Food Space?

The former Mexican restaurant is a one-story building located across from the busy Livingston Center, which draws plenty of food traffic. Inside, the space is limited and could probably fit about a dozen small tables.

There is no shortage of parking in the area. Customers and patrons can park for free behind the building or across the street in Livingston Center. Around the vacant building are restaurants and a laundromat.

All possibilities are on the table. We ask you to forget what zone it's in, ignore setback regulations, dump-lot coverage rules, and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. If you had your way, what would you like to see there? What would be the best use for the community?

Livingston has plenty of nail salons, so let's take that off the table. What do you think is missing in Livingston? A clothing boutique? An independent coffee shop?
