Livingston to Hold Breast Cancer Awareness Event

The Livingston Health Department will be holding a ceremony on Friday morning.

The Livingston Health Department's Nursing Division is doing their part to keep the public informed about breast cancer.

On Friday, the department will be holding a “Tie a Pink Ribbon” Ceremony from 12-1 p.m. in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness at the gazebo on the Oval.  To honor October as Breast Cancer Awareness month, the department will be distributing educational information, posters, and hand-outs to residents.  The information will be donated by the Susan G. Komen foundation and Saint Barnabas Breast Center.

The event is free and for all age groups.  Pink balloons will mark the site. In case of rain ,the event will move inside Town Hall.
