Ticket prices to Livingston's bicentennial gala have been slashed $50.
The price per ticket for the gala celebrating the township's 200th anniversary have been reduced to $100 per person down from $150 thanks to an anonymous donor's contribution.
Did you already purchase your tickets? Don't worry. Refunds will be given to those who bought tickets at the original $150 price.
The gala will be Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Crystal Plaza, at 305 W. Northfield Road.
You can purchase yours now at the senior, youth and leisure services office at the Senior/Community Center, at 204 Hillside Ave., from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or at town hall, at 357 S. Livingston Ave., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Guests will enjoy food, an open bar, music by the Rick Crane Trio and by The Joey Arminio Band, and a copy of Barry Evenchick's newly published commemorative book "200: A Bicentennial Portrait of Livingston Township."
In addition, Jan Press has generously agreed to take photographs during the event so everyone will also receive a Bicentennial photographic memento.
