Livingston Camera Club Goes Thru The Lens

Livingston Camera Club's show runs until March 4, 2013, at the Livingston Senior and Community Center

Livingston Camera Club’s Thru The Lens VIII competition will run until March 4, 2013, at the Livingston Senior and Community Center on Hillside Avenue.
 
There were 38 entries from 21 photographers in this year’s event.    The photos displayed are diverse, ranging from nature and landscapes to travel,  portraiture, and abstract images. For the third time the Best in Show winner was Larry Agron of Livingston.   Primarily a photojournalist, Agron’s winning photo, entitled, “Quintessential Character Actor,” was a portrait of veteran television and motion picture actor William H. Macy. 
 
Awards of Excellence were earned by Jordan Basem, Ira Nemeroff and Len Sherman.   Awards of Merit were won by Richard Koch, Rebecca Konstandt, and Art Lee.   Honorable Mentions were garnered by  Jean Davidson, Carla Francis and Pat Gilhooly.
 
The exhibit is under the sponsorship of the Arts Council of Livingston, and Michal Barkai, of Livingston, is the exhibit chairwoman.
