June Art Show at the Livingston Public Library

An art show expressing Nature will be held at the Livingston Public Library this month.

An art show expressing Nature is being held all month at the .  The theme of this art is the Wonder of Nature with colorful flowers, butterflies and birds. Works of art created by children, ages 4-16 years old, will be featured.

The various pieces on display will include water colors, sketches, and oil pastels, as well as works done in marker and crayon.  

All of the featured artists are taught by Christine Qin Wittlinger, who has both an art and business degree from China and America.  The method of her teaching is the combination of creating personal expression and drawing techniques such as line color, proportion, perspective and more.

Her students have received many awards including 1st place in the "No smoking poster contest", 2nd place in the "school book fair poster contest" at a local district, as well as 1st and 2nd places in the "Logo design” for Livingston Township summer camp in 2010.
