Summer Film Series: Iron Lady

TheLivingston Public will host a free screening of Iron Lady (2011), 105 minutes, rated PG-13, as part of the 2012 Summer Film series.

Meryl Street won an Academy Award in her role as Margaret Thatcher, the first and only female Prime Minister of England. One of the 20th century’s most famous and influential women, Thatcher came from nowhere tosmash through barriers of gender and class in a male-dominated world. The Iron Lady is a surprising and intimate portrait of Dame Margaret Thatcher.
